St. David’s Episcopal Church, located at 6501 Pennywell Drive in Nashville, invites you to an exhibit of Stations of the Cross murals completed by Death Row inmates at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville during Lent, 2018. Prison Ministry volunteers and several friends helped with the project which has been displayed at Christ Church Cathedral and a number of Roman Catholic parishes. The artwork, consists of two long canvas scrolls, which will be displayed at St. David’s on April 2, 4, 8, 9, 15 and 16 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM. The inmates hope this work will stimulate conversations on criminal justice and racial inequality. The exhibit is in conjunction with the church’s Adult Forum Study of Jesus and the Disinherited by Howard Thurman and Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. St. David’s welcomes you to view this artwork as part of your Lenten journey.
